Time...

Sitting on the edge of time,
that was fine for awhile.
A mile or two more
and I would bore you to tears
with my fears of times end.
I need a lend of your ear
to stop the tear dripping off my chin.
It's no sin to show fear and emotion.
the tide will turn the ocean will flow
and I will let go into the abyss
of time minus the
tick tocking.
